Psychology

Isa Stahl, MACP, R.Psych. (AB #4100)

Meet Isa:

Hello and Welcome! I am a clinical psychologist with 10+ years of experience. I have worked in government and private hospital settings as well as in private practice providing counselling, psychotherapy and psycho-education to at-risk youth, adults of all age groups, professionals, and individuals with culturally diverse backgrounds. I am somewhat of a “late bloomer”, having discovered my passion for counselling later in life as a second career calling.

My approach to counselling clients is rooted in mindfulness, positive psychology and person-centered therapy. Some other therapeutic approaches I draw from include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, solution-focused therapy, existential therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to name a few. I have a particular interest and training in working with clients going through difficult life transitions, experiencing grief, loss, injury and illness as well as stress, depression and anxiety.

My Modalities include:

Person-Centered Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

Meet Sandra:

Hello and Welcome! My name is Sandra and I, too, discovered my calling not because I thought it was an obvious first career choice that I wanted to pursue early on in life, but rather because of something I had to experience on a deeply personal level first. In a way, homeopathy chose me and I ended up studying Classical Homeopathic Medicine with the internationally acknowledged School of Homeopathy in Devon, England. The School of Homeopathy is one of the oldest and most reputable programs in the world with thousands of students worldwide. I received my final credentials from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada. In addition to this advanced training, I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary, as well as Diplomas in Anatomy & Physiology and Pathology & Disease. I have been professionally involved in the field of Homeopathic Medicine since 2007.

Complementing my holistic views, I offer advice on diet and nutrition with a focus on helping my clients regain and maintain good health and wellbeing. Along with Homeopathic Medicines, I use herbal supplements, tinctures, nutraceuticals, tissue salts and essential oils.
